About the Company
Our client is a fast-growing all-in-one payment and banking hub that simplifies money management for online businesses, fintechs, and regulated industries. Operating across the UK and EEA, the company is FCA regulated, EU licensed, and supervised by the Bank of Latvia — providing scalable, seamless, and compliant financial infrastructure to its clients.
Having processed over one billion transactions across 150+ currencies, the company serves a diverse global client base and continues to scale rapidly. It is a Visa and Mastercard principal member and maintains an 87% card acceptance rate with zero settlement fees.
The business operates at the intersection of payments, banking, and compliance — and is building the internal operational infrastructure to match its external ambitions.
The Opportunity
The company is seeking an experienced Product Manager to build the operational backbone of the organisation. This is an internal-facing, infrastructure-first role — focused on the platforms, workflow systems, and AI-powered automation that keep operational teams running at scale.
This is not a growth, onboarding, or customer-facing product role. The successful candidate will work on systems that enable operations: back-office platforms, review workflows, case management, compliance operations, internal tooling, and process automation.
The ideal candidate loves fixing operational chaos, simplifying complex workflows, and applying automation and AI to eliminate repetitive manual work.
This role sits at the intersection of:
• Product
• Operations
• Engineering
• Data and AI enablement
The right candidate will be excited by questions such as:
• What parts of this process should not exist manually?
• Where can AI reduce operational load?
• How do we help teams move faster with fewer errors?
• What should be automated, and where should humans stay in the loop?
Key Responsibilities
• Building and scaling internal operational platforms and workflow systems.
• Identifying high-impact automation opportunities across operational processes.
• Designing AI-assisted workflows that improve speed, accuracy, and scalability.
• Partnering closely with operations teams to understand bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
• Working with engineering and data teams to ship practical automation solutions.
• Prototyping and validating ideas quickly using modern AI and productivity tools.
• Defining and measuring operational impact: automation rate, SLA reduction, processing speed, quality improvement, and operational efficiency.
• Continuously improving workflows based on data and real operational usage.
What They're Looking For
The ideal candidate will demonstrate the following:
• Experience building internal tools, operational systems, workflow platforms, or back-office products.
• Systems thinking with a strong focus on operational efficiency and scalability.
• A track record of working on automation initiatives, ideally involving AI or intelligent workflows.
• The ability to clearly demonstrate measurable business impact from previous work.
• Strong ownership and execution skills — from problem discovery to shipped solution.
• The ability to move fast, prototype quickly, and actively use AI tools in day-to-day work.
• Comfort operating in ambiguity and improving messy, complex processes.
• An affinity for working closely with operational teams and solving real execution problems.
Nice to Have
• Experience in fintech, payments, compliance, or risk operations.
• Exposure to AI-assisted operations, LLM workflows, or internal copilots.
• Hands-on experience with low-code/no-code automation tools.
• A background in high-scale or regulated environments.
