Our client, a leading and innovative company in the cryptocurrency exchange sector based in Jakarta, Indonesia, is seeking a dynamic Chief Operating Officer (COO) to lead and optimize their operational functions. This organization is a pioneer in the crypto industry within the region, known for its strong market presence and commitment to expanding the digital asset ecosystem.
Position Overview:
The COO will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring operational excellence, and supporting the execution of strategic initiatives that drive growth and enhance customer experience. Reporting directly to the CEO, the COO will play a pivotal role in scaling the company’s operations while maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements in Indonesia’s rapidly evolving crypto market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and streamline operational processes across trading, compliance, customer support, and technology teams to ensure platform reliability and security.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to develop and implement growth strategies aligned with the company’s vision of expanding crypto adoption.
- Manage regulatory compliance and risk management efforts, ensuring adherence to local financial and governmental regulations.
- Drive cross-functional coordination to launch new products, services, and ecosystem expansions.
- Oversee budgeting, resource allocation, and operational planning to support sustainable growth.
- Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.

Qualifications:
- Extensive executive leadership experience in fintech, cryptocurrency, or digital asset exchanges, preferably within Southeast Asia.
